Eagle Creek Park’s public hayrides take riders on a 40-minute wagon trip around the park’s fields, forest and roadways. Riders share a wagon with other members of the public, and groups that want a whole wagon can book a separate group hayride.
Rides leave at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. from the Eagle Creek Beach concession stand at 7602 Eagle Beach Drive, and riders should arrive at least 15 minutes early. There are no official seats, so riders should bring blankets. Hot chocolate, cider and s’mores kits are sold at the concession stand.
Tickets are $10 per person, and everyone age 1 and older must be registered. Online registration closes at 5 p.m. the Thursday before each ride. Park admission is extra: $6 per car for Marion County residents and $8 for nonresidents. After regular park hours, riders enter and exit through the 56th Street gate.
