Phoebe & Jay Preschool Workshop with WFYI

Families are invited to Central Library for a special Phoebe & Jay Preschool Workshop with WFYI. Children will get a sneak peek of the new PBS KIDS series Phoebe & Jay before it airs, followed by simple activities and games designed with preschoolers in mind. The program is especially suited for ages 3–5, but older siblings and caregivers are welcome to attend.

Phoebe & Jay is a fun, literacy-focused animated series that follows 6-year-old fraternal twins Phoebe and Jay Yarber as they explore the world around them. The show highlights everyday texts such as labels, signs, and posters to help young children build early literacy skills in ways that feel familiar and engaging. The workshop offers a relaxed way for families to learn about the series together before its PBS KIDS debut.
