The Taylor Center is pleased to welcome back Natural Dye Artist Hannah Hadley! Dive into the fascinating world of natural dyeing with madder root in this hands-on class! Madder root, derived from the Rubia tinctorum plant, has been utilized for centuries to impart vibrant reds, oranges, and earthy tones to textiles. In this workshop, participants will learn the art and science behind harnessing the rich hues of madder root to color a personalized pair of red socks.
