The Wild Wonders Early Learning Program offers a hands-on adventure for young children and their caregivers. Designed for ages 3-5, this 90-minute program encourages exploration and discovery through play-based activities that foster curiosity about the natural world. Each session features a different theme, allowing children to learn about a variety of animals and habitats.
2025 Program themes and dates:
- Deserts – Jan 29 or 31
- Sea Creatures – Feb 12 or 14
- Dolphins – Feb 26 or 28
- Apes – Mar 12 or 14
- Flowers, Bugs & Butterflies – Mar 21
- Seals, Sea Lions, & Walrus – Apr 9 or 11
- Birds – May 9 or 10
- Turtles & Tortoises – June 20
Program Details:
- Time: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
- Location: Indianapolis Zoo
- Cost:
- Zoo members: $22.50 (includes one child and one adult)
- Nonmembers: $35 (includes one child, one adult, and Zoo admission for both)
- Additional adult (limit one per program):
- Members: $5
- Nonmembers: $15
