Plan a break from the books to learn about nature and get your kids outside. We will discuss a specific topic and then explore the outdoors. Kids that spend time in nature are happier, healthier, and smarter! Ages: Best for school-aged children
Boo Boo Goo – Aug 22
We are going to make a simple, all-natural salve perfect for boo-boos. We will find our ingredients on a hike, take them back to the center and make our Boo Boo Goo. It will be ready to take home by the end of our creative session.

Safe Travels Monarchs – Sept 12
We are nearing the monarch butterfly migration. We will learn about this colorful butterfly’s life cycle and the amazing trek it makes to Mexico.

Spooky Folklore Hike – Oct 24
What is Halloween without bats? We will learn why bats are not to be feared, but rather celebrated. On our hike, we will look for areas where a bat might ready itself for winter.
