Homeschool at the Library with The Indianapolis Public Library

The Indianapolis Public Library’s Homeschool at the Library programs bring homeschool families together for a hands-on lesson with a community partner. In October at the Fort Ben Branch, staff from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources teach about caves, the ecosystems they support above and below ground and the creatures that live in them.

In November at the Glendale Branch, Seeds of Caring leads Hunger Heroes, where kids learn about food insecurity in the community and work on a service project to give back.
