Indiana Historical Society’s biggest book day brings readers face to face with more than 60 authors across many genres. Browse new releases and local favorites, talk with writers about their work, and pick up signed copies for yourself or for gifts. The lineup spans sports, biography, fiction, children’s literature, politics, and—naturally—a deep bench of Indiana history.
Expect a casual, bookshop-style atmosphere with tables throughout the museum. Staff and volunteers help you find specific titles or age ranges, and the Basile History Market stocks related reads and gifts to round out your list. It is easy to make a full outing of it: admission also includes entry to Festival of Trees, so families can take a break from browsing to explore the themed tree displays.
