Conner Prairie’s Headless Horseman Festival combines fall traditions, carnival-style entertainment and spooky nighttime experiences throughout the museum grounds. Families can play carnival games, watch live music and magic performances, see Circle City Fire turn fire into art, and explore seasonal attractions before venturing into some of the festival’s scarier experiences after dark.
Activities include the Perilous Plunge dry tubing hill, corn mazes, the Haunted Trail, Eerie Illusions magic show, Sleepy Hollow shows and a barrel train ride through a musical pumpkin patch for riders under 48 inches tall. The Headless Horseman Hayride takes guests through the woods for a separate ticketed experience filled with frights inspired by the legendary character. Food vendors serve festival favorites including burgers, pizza, pretzels and kettle corn, and the Apple Store is open during the festival.
Festival admission is free for members, $26 for nonmembers and $10 with an Access Pass. Hayride tickets are $10 for both members and nonmembers. Some attractions, including the Haunted Trail and Headless Horseman Hayride, are designed to be spooky.
