First Bloom & Glow

First Bloom & Glow is an annual event at the Richmond Rose Garden celebrating the season’s first rose blooms and supporting garden maintenance. From 6:30 to 8:30 PM, guests can enjoy a catered dinner from local vendors with a $40 ticket, which must be purchased in advance. This dinner portion is ticketed and includes access to food served in the garden. Starting around 9:00 PM, the hot air balloons will begin to glow at dark.

The balloon glow is free and open to the public—no ticket is required to attend this part of the event.
