The Festival of Trees fills the Indiana Historical Society’s Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center with more than 75 decorated holiday trees, each themed and trimmed by individuals, families and organizations from across Indiana. The building-wide exhibit runs for seven weeks, and guests can explore the displays at their own pace.
The festival is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., and Twilight Nights add evening hours until 8 p.m. on select Tuesdays and Thursdays in December. Cookie decorating and a Holiday Author Fair are part of the season, and parking is free with admission in the history center’s lot on New York Street. IHS members receive free admission with advance reservations, and tickets are sold online. History center admission is $15 for adults, $14 for seniors 60 and older and $5 for ages 5 to 17, children under 5 get in free and adults and seniors save $2 per ticket online.
