On April 8th, from Noon to 4:30PM, Holcomb Observatory and Planetarium presents the Eclipse Viewing Festival. This free event, perfect for astronomy enthusiasts, offers a unique opportunity to witness the splendor of the 2024 solar eclipse amidst the scenic beauty of the observatory grounds.

The eclipse takes place at 3:06 p.m., with observation options available on the museum’s front lawn or within the IMAX® theater, subject to weather conditions. A post-viewing museum tour features a genuine moon rock exhibit and a variety of Earth, Moon, and space-focused activities.
