Cultivating Minds: Composting

Drop-in to the Children’s Garden any time between 2 and 3 pm to learn about how to compost and the benefits of compost for your garden. Our naturalist will lead you through a very brief presentation on composting. Kids can explore our decomposer area in the garden and look for worms and other decomposers. Participants will get to take a sample of our compost home. There will also be handouts on composting and vermicomposting. This program is free, but donations (made at the front desk) are always appreciated.
