The Carmel Christkindlmarkt is a German-style holiday market on Carter Green, set between the Palladium and The Tarkington, with wooden vendor huts, festive lights, holiday food and drinks, and handmade gifts. Entry is free, and all market activities and entertainment are free; food, drinks and gifts are for sale.
Kids can make free crafts in the Kinderecke during all market hours and collect stamps on a Kinder Club passport. The Spielhaus hosts character meet-and-greets and puppet shows, the Werkstatt has German artisan demonstrations, and the Kulturecke shares German-American history. The Ice at Carter Green sits at the center of the market; skating costs extra and requires advance online tickets.
Parking is free in city garages and lots, and a free weekend shuttle runs every 15 minutes from 550 College Drive. Pets are not allowed. The market’s 2026 special-events schedule has not been posted yet.
