Make no illusion. Salvador Dalí’s mesmerizing works will adorn the THE LUME Indianapolis on Floor 4 of the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields from March 2, 2024 through March 2, 2025. The Spanish artist is known for his surreal dreamscapes of melting clocks and fascinating creatures. Fluttering butterflies will envelope guests who step into Dalí’s wild and wonderful worlds.
Mystery and discovery abound. Let your imagination run wild in the renewed activity space titled Let’s Get Surreal. Artificial intelligence will transform your written word into a two-dimensional masterpiece.
The exhibition will showcase four large, vibrant watercolor paintings by Salvador Dalí from the IMA’s permanent collection. THE LUME Indianapolis featuring Dalí Alive will feature brand-new digital content in all three digital gallery spaces. Additionally, the new café concept, El Mercado Surreal, will boast a selection of Spanish-inspired small bites by Newfields’ culinary team.
