This event promises to be a great opportunity for bird enthusiasts and nature lovers to come together and celebrate the society’s longstanding commitment to bird and nature conservation and education. As part of the event, all visitors can enjoy the Indiana Audubon membership perk of rustic camping both Friday and Saturday night free of charge in the campground. Fishing is free all weekend too.

The Shops at Perry Crossing in Plainfield, Indiana will be hosting the Perry Crossing 500 -Tricycle Race. It will be held in Town Square Oval on Sunday, May 5th, Noon-2pm.

The Shops at Perry Crossing in Plainfield, Indiana will be hosting the Perry Crossing 500 -Tricycle Race. It will be held in Town Square Oval on Sunday, May 5th, Noon-2pm. This free, fun, family event kicks off the month of May and celebrates the 2024 Indianapolis 500.
The Town Square “Oval” will be barricaded off to create the course. A “short course” will be created for the little ones wrapping halfway around the oval. The event will consist of multiple heats of tricycle races in adult and children categories. The categories are children ages 4-7, children ages 8-12, children ages 13-17 and adults ages 18 and up. Children ages 4-7 will race in 6 heats of 3. All other age categories will race in six heats of four. The winner of each heat will compete in the championship race for their own category.
The winner of each category will receive a prize package from the Mall Management Team. We will have a Winner’s Circle photo backdrop with fun props to use (milk bottle, wreath, etc.) and a DJ/emcee on site. Our Indy 500 Princesses will be in attendance to support the races and offer free photo opportunities! Past princesses and queens are also encouraged to attend and help us cheer on our racers!
The reservations are first come, first serve. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to start time to register/sign waiver form. Each participant upon arrival will be required to sign a liability waiver before competing. Each participant MUST bring their own helmet. If you are 18 , you will have the option to wear a helmet or not on the liability waiver.
Reservation is required for participants only. Free parking will be available. Other entertainment may be provided. Spectators encouraged. (Don’t forget to invite the grandparents!) Kid and adult tricycles will be provided.

The Shops at Perry Crossing announced that the center will celebrate the Indianapolis 500 with its own Perry Crossing 500-inspired tricycle races on Sunday, May 5 from noon a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Town Square Oval.
The Perry Crossing 500 Tricycle Races is a fun, family-friendly event with competition for children ages 4-7, 8-12, 13-17 and adults 18 that consist of multiple heats of tricycle races in adult and children categories. Children ages 4-7 will race in six heats of three, and all other age categories will race in six heats of four. The winner of each heat will compete in the championship race for their own category and receive a prize package from the center. Additionally, the event offers an award ceremony in the Winner’s Circle with milk showers and trophies, a photo backdrop with fun props, a DJ/emcee, and crowd-favorite Indy 500 Princesses to kick off each race.
Reservations are first come, first serve, and participants are encouraged to reserve their spot to race by visiting https://www.perry-crossing.com/tricycle-races/. Each participant is required to arrive 20 minutes prior to start time, sign a liability waiver form before competing, and must bring their own helmet, if under the age of 18. Free parking will be available in the north lot of AMC across from Theo’s Italian.

A shade tent will be provided but make sure to bring your hats, sunscreen , waterside seating, and of course don’t forget those fishing poles! The Shops at Perry Crossing is a dog-friendly community. Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome in stores with a dog-friendly sticker in their window. Restaurants have dog-friendly patio seating. Brazil Main Street’s purpose for Route 40 Fest. Is to put on the biggest and best one day
festival in the Wabash Valley for the Community to gather, enjoy and socialize with friends, family, and neighbors. We also foster and support local small businesses and companies in
the Wabash Valley.
