DIY: Summertime Fruit Popsicles

There’s nothing better than a sweet, icy treat on a hot summer’s day.

Everyone will enjoy cooling down with these fruity, simple popsicles, and your kids will love making them with you. Get creative and experiment with your flavors! This recipe calls for strawberries and mango, but use whichever fruits your family loves.

DIY Summertime Popsicles

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole mango
  • 12-15 strawberries
  • Honey or sugar to sweeten (optional)
  • ½ cup pineapple juice (optional)

Directions:

Puree diced mango and ¼ cup of pineapple juice. Place pureed fruit in a small bowl.

Next, puree the strawberries and ¼ cup of pineapple juice, and when finished, place the pureed strawberries in another small bowl.

Alternate the strawberry and mango puree in each mold until full.

Place tops on molds and insert popsicle sticks.

Put popsicles in the freezer for at least 5 hours (I like to freeze popsicles overnight). Run popsicle mold under warm water when you are ready to eat them. Enjoy!
