DC Super Heroes™: Discover Your Superpowers at The Children’s Museum

Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman help families discover their superpowers at a new exhibit at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis.

Grab your capes and get ready to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Wonder Woman when DC Super Heroes™: Discover Your Superpowers makes a return engagement to The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis from March 20 to September 26, 2021. Children and families join forces with Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and other members of DC’s Justice League to battle Super-Villains.

Super heroes-in-training develop new skills and learn the importance of teamwork at the Hall of Justice as they work side-by-side with their favorite DC Super Heroes to solve problems and catch Super-Villains in a series of fast-paced challenges.

“The characters of the DC Universe are iconic symbols of teamwork, self-discovery, strength, and justice that inspire children and families to be more than we are, and do more than we thought we could,” said Dr. Jeffrey H. Patchen, president and CEO, The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. “When we combine our strengths as a team we accomplish more and can overcome our obstacles together.”

Teamwork is just one element of success. When we challenge ourselves mentally and physically, we can gain new skills and learn more about ourselves. Just like the real world – it takes all kinds to make this super human world successful. Instead of picking apart differences, working together like The Flash, Green Lantern, Cyborg and Aquaman do – helps us learn to use differences for a greater good.

Visitors are encouraged to help Batman in Gotham City fend off The Joker who has sabotaged the Bat-Signal or work with Wonder Woman to rescue artifacts that The Cheetah stole from the Museum of Ancient History. Other activities include a quiz, in which everyone in the family can learn which DC Super Hero they most resemble. In the Hall of Justice, there is a memorable photo/video opportunity in which visitors can demonstrate their flying skills.

The DC Universe has inspired generations of kids and grownups to be more like super heroes in real life. Discover what kind of super hero you can be!
