Cathedral Celebrates School’s Birthday with Day of Service

This Thursday morning, students and teachers from Cathedral High School will fan out across Indianapolis and surrounding counties to help a wide variety of central Indiana not-for-profits. The entire school, 1,263 students plus 60+ faculty and staff, will be doing everything from cleaning up along Fall Creek to making superhero capes. The Day of Service is a meaningful way for students and staff to celebrate Cathedral High School’s 97th birthday and give back to the community.

Who:           1,300+ students, teachers, and staff members

What:          Cathedral High School Day of Service

When:         Thursday, September 10, 8am to approximately 1pm

Where:        50 locations throughout Indianapolis and surrounding areas including Big City Farms, Holliday Park, Fall Creek/Millersville, Enlace Academy, Damar, Hope Haven Horse Farm, and the Indiana State Museum to name only a few (see attached for all locations)

Why:           To give back to the community that’s been home to the school since 1918
