Lighting Ceremony
6:00 pm along the Canal Esplanade
The culmination of the Broad Ripple Lights Up! festival is the Lighting Ceremony. We have a NEW LOCATION this year! This year, in celebration of the newly completed improvements, we will have our lighting ceremony on the Canal Esplanade. The Canal Esplanade is the linear park and trail on the north bank of the Central Canal between College Avenue and Guilford Avenue. After the parade, make your way to the Canal Esplanade to help Santa count down to light the display. The lighting ceremony takes place at approximately 6:00 pm.
