Indy’s Child & Hamilton County Family Magazines will be hosting the 1st Annual Back2School Bash at the Monon Community Center from 11am – 3pm on Saturday, August 29th. The Bash will feature fun for the entire family. Special entertainment includes The Colts Play 60 Zone, “Touch a Truck” experience, live stage presentations, Bubble Zone, mock Indy’s Child covers, carnival games and much more. After attending the Bash, all participants are invited to visit the popular Waterpark at the Monon Community Center for free!
There will also be informational zones for families to explore the many activities and schools available in Central Indiana as they enter the new school year. Representatives from private schools, afterschool activity programs, health care organizations , tutoring programs and more will be on hand to discuss the many options available to area families. Also, be sure to stop by and visit with Trisha Shepherd, former local news anchor, who will be signing copies of her new book Know When to Run: Lessons from the Diary of a Gen X Mom.
Additionally, the first 100 families who arrive will receive a free swag bag filled with tons of goodies! Door prize drawings will be given throughout the day with awesome prizes including a one year family membership to the Monon Community Center, a holiday package to the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, TN, a Staple’s backpack with gift card, multiple $50 Kroger gift cards and much more.
