This October, the Whitewater Valley Railroad welcomes ghosts and goblins of all ages for a gently spooky train ride through the Indiana countryside. The Ghost Train offers a family-friendly Halloween adventure that departs from historic Metamora on select Friday and Saturday evenings. It is not a horror ride filled with gore; it is a classic ghost story brought to life on the rails.

During the 30-minute trip through the darkened Whitewater Valley, a haunting tale unfolds around passengers. Live characters appear along the route, stepping from the shadows to interact with riders and reveal the story’s twists. The experience feels spooky but never scary and is perfect for families who want to start a new fall tradition.
