A Sneak Peek of The Nutcracker

The Central Indiana Dance Ensemble’s preview of its upcoming performances of The Nutcracker provided just a glimpse of what audiences will be treated to December 15-17 at the Zionsville Performing Arts Center.

Artistic Director Suzann DeLay will lead 121 dancers from 47 central Indiana schools in the traditional holiday ballet. Audrey Burdick and Paige Hall, two Carmel High School seniors, will share the role of Sugar Plum Fairy. Both have studied ballet since they were five years old and train more than 25 hours each week, in addition to carrying heavy course loads and volunteering in the community. Their dedication and commitment are evident in the strength and grace they bring to their role.
