Fisher’s AgriPark is Opening July 28
Beginning July 28 and through the entire month of August, Fishers AgriPark will be open for special open-house style evenings, which will include tours, encounters with the farm’s animals, and more.
Guests will register for a spot, choosing from one of 10 grand-opening evenings, which will run from 5 to 7 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday. On Aug. 6.

Preparations are underway at the Fishers AgriPark, located at 113th Street and Florida Road, as the Fishers Parks team gears up for a summer opening.
As one of the nation’s largest urban farms, the Fishers AgriPark pays homage to Fishers’ agricultural roots, while inspiring future generations of farmers, scientists, agronomists, robotics engineers, chefs, and more.
“The Fishers AgriPark will be a unique asset for our community, truly unlike any of our other park properties,” said Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness. “There will be so many opportunities for our residents to engage with the farm, from picking fresh produce for your pantry, to helping to feed the animals, to hiking and exploring the gardens. I’m so excited for our community to experience this space.”
The Fishers AgriPark will feature public fields and gardens, managed by Fishers Parks, and free admission. In the gardens, residents can pick seasonal produce and cut flowers to take home at no charge. Along with providing u-pick opportunities for residents, a portion of the produce grown will be donated to local food shelters. An animal area will offer opportunities to encounter traditional livestock, such as cows, chickens, and goats. Open fields and a farm-themed play structure, constructed in partnership with Reynolds Farm Equipment, will provide discovery and play spaces for Fishers’ youngest residents. A programming barn will serve as an educational space for both public and school-based programs with HSE Schools. The park will also offer seasonal experiences, such as a corn maze and pumpkin patch in the fall.
Over the last few months, the Fishers Parks team has been busy prepping the park for a public summer opening. In March, plastic was placed over the greenhouse, where plants will be started before being moved outdoors. Later this month, more than 200 trees will be delivered and planted on the farm. These trees will be used as needed to replace trees at various park properties across Fishers.
“Fishers Parks staff are working hard this spring to deliver a brand-new experience to Fishers,” said Sarah Sandquist, Director of Fishers Parks. “We can’t wait to invite the community to this new space, and will have ample opportunities to volunteer, learn, discover, and be a part of something very special.”
