Local astronomer Doug Balogh, a member of the Indiana Astronomical Society, leads an evening at the Taylor Center of Natural History that starts with a talk on astronomy and celestial wonders, from nebulae to distant galaxies, before heading outside to observe the night sky. Stargazers of every level are welcome, and guests can bring their own telescope or use the host’s.
The indoor presentation happens rain or shine, but outdoor viewing may be canceled in bad weather, so dress for the conditions. Registration is through Hamilton County Parks.
