50 Years of Smiles and Laughs with SCOOBY-DOO™

Children have been gathering clues and solving mysteries alongside Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and their canine pal SCOOBY-DOO™ for over 50 years! Educators confirm that solving mysteries spark curiosity and create fun memories for families. SCOOBY-DOO™ encourages viewers to think critically and solve problems. The series also gives kiddos an incredible example of what it looks like to be part of a team and work with others to solve difficult tasks. Problem solving, critical thinking and teamwork are skills that children use their entire lives. Families and children can put those skills to the test when The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, in partnership with Warner Brothers, opens SCOOBY-DOO™ Mansion Mayhem on June 4, 2022.

Young detectives discover how they can use math to solve tricky problems, or think back to yesterday’s spaghetti when investigating the new stain on the carpet. When you do this, problem-solving is occurring. This important skill will be put to the test as families work their way through the rooms of the mansion and help the members of Mystery Inc. uncover who stole the jewel.

Similar to problem solving, critical thinking is another lifelong skill that is used in day-to-day life. It is often seen in the classroom when trying to understand stories, or even when communicating with friends and family. This skill is one that is essential to success in school and in the workplace. It is also essential for solving mysteries. When families are analyzing clues, critical thinking takes place.

Few shows air long enough for parents and children to have the same experiences and warm memories. This makes SCOOBY-DOO™ special and a great intergenerational way to bond with one another. Now this experience can move from the living room to The Children’s Museum. Create memories and learn important skills with Mystery Incorporated.
