Holiday science is happening during December at WonderLab.
In addition to our regularly scheduled programs and exhibits, there are a variety of special programs and activities for all ages. Drop by or stay the entire day. And don’t forget: free weekend parking during the month of December. Saturdays, at the Monroe Convention Center west of the B-Line Trail. Sundays Free on street parking at the meters.
Cubelets: Tiny Robots!
Coinciding with International Computer Science Education Week, WonderLab is proud to introduce, Cubelets, the newest museum experience for scientists of all ages.
Cubelets small, magnetic blocks, can be snapped together to make an endless variety of robots with no programming and no wires. Robots drive, respond to light, sound, and temperature, and have surprisingly lifelike behavior. Come and experience Cubelets – a hands-on way to learn the basics of computer science.
Snowflake Science
Science of Art  is teaming up with Science on the Spot  to bring you: Magical, Mathematical Snowflakes! What is symmetry? What are the shapes of snowflakes called? How are snowflake shapes created? Create your own paper snowflakes for your very own winter wonderland.Daily throughout December. All materials provided with the price of admission.
New Year’s Eve Physics Science Special
Far from Times Square, WonderLab will engineer a New Year’s ball drop. Help design and build a tower, then engineer the ball drop. How fast can it fall? How slow? The New Year’s Eve ball at Times Square drops in exactly 60 seconds. New Year’s Eve, Sunday, December 31, 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.

WonderLab Museum/Gift Store Hours of Operation
The WonderLab Museum of Science, Health, and Technology provides hands-on science learning to with exhibits and programs for people of all ages. The museum is in the heart of Bloomington’s cultural district, just along the B-Line Trail. Operational hours are Tuesday – Thursday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday: 1 – 5 p.m. For further information, visit wonderlab.org.
