The Westfield Easter Egg Drop is one of the most popular Easter egg hunts in the Indianapolis area, attracting a crowd of more than 7,000 participants. This hunt is so popular that pre-registration can fill up fast.
The organizers have expanded the annual event to accommodate 2,500 pre-registered children between the morning and afternoon egg drops.
However, the festivities at the Westfield Easter Egg Drop extend beyond the egg hunt. The event features inflatable bounce houses and slides, face painting, photo booth pictures, carnival games, an inflatable toddler play area and other fun activities, all free for families to enjoy. The event is also a benefit for the Hamilton County Youth Assistance Program.
How many eggs are dropped at the Westfield Easter Egg Drop?
Even though the organizers have never counted every single one, they estimate there are about 50,000 plastic eggs used across both egg drops.
