To accommodate families who may not yet be comfortable sending their kids to an in-person camp this summer, many organizations have transitioned their programming to virtual platforms. Check out these online summer camps to enjoy the magic of camp from home!

2020 Virtual Summer Camps:

 

Mathnasium

Camp Dates: Serving students until school resumes and beyond.
Ages: Grades 2-12

The summer months are the perfect chance for your children to sharpen their math skills! At Mathnasium, we provide your child with learning plans customized to their needs to improve their attitude and understanding of math in a relaxed, stress-free environment in our centers or online from home

 


Indianapolis Art Center Summer Art Camps

Special information: Online Camps in June and July. Online and Onsite Camps in July.

Register now for online and onsite camps for ages 4-18. Online camps through June and July will combine physical and online resources alongside live streaming from our professional studios. Material kits will be made available via curbside pickup. Onsite camps offered in July will feature half and full-day options.

 


REACH! Virtual Summer Music Camp – Indianapolis Children’s Choir

Ages: Grades 1-8

Use your time at home this summer to reach out through song and change our world one note at a time. Work at your own pace – beginning July 1st. Deadline to turn in final project is Friday, July 24th at 11:59pm. Video of Final Performance will be available to families on Friday, July 31st. $85 tuition – includes $25 non-refundable registration fee. Financial Assistance is available! Sessions will include: Choral Instruction for 4 performance pieces, Part-singing, Music Theory, Movement Class, Orff Class (with found-at-home materials), Recorder Class (optional for 3rd-8th graders who have a recorder at home). Live sessions will be optional and available the week of July 20-24! These will be fun, optional WebEx live sessions from home with ICC directors. Registered attendees will receive more information. All singers will have the opportunity to virtually audition for the Indianapolis Children’s Choir during camp. Contact the ICC office with questions at [email protected].

Cyber Sapphires: An Online Virtual Theatre Camp

Ages: Rising 4th – 6th grades

Special information: All instruction and the final performance showcase will take place entirely online.

The Sapphire Theatre Company’s professional teaching artists bring drama to your living room in this live interactive theatre camp that takes place safely at home. Designed to fully engage students with both peer contact and professional coaching, this camp introduces acting techniques culminating in a week-end online performance.

Ages: 1st – 5th Grade

Each camp week has a different theme – join one or join all! You will receive everything you need to complete each of the 3 activities each week, including at-home ideas and printables. Cost is $100 per week for the 1st child, and $65 per additional child. There is a $15 discount if families choose to pick up their supplies instead of having them mailed. Cutoff to register is the Wednesday before each coming week.
