Trending hashtags on Twitter is not something I pay particularly close attention to, but every once in a while, one catches my eye and I have to check it out.
When I first saw the hashtag #TerribleGiftsForA4YearOld, I was hooked.

As a former middle school teacher, I would also not recommend a Sharpie for 12, 13 and 14-year olds.

You know, he makes a good point.
I think I’ll just stick to giving out cardboard boxes as presents for kids turning four, it seems to be what they like most of all anyway.
