Harvest season is celebrated each year on the 1860’s Stonycreek Farm in Noblesville, Indiana. The 43rd annual Pumpkin Harvest Festival runs September 26-October 31 at Stonycreek Farm, 11366 State Road 38 East, Noblesville. Open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., parking is $5 per car, Tuesday through Sunday. There is no parking fee on Monday.
The event’s 400 ft. zip line is returning as a main attraction. The cost is $15 per person for anyone ages 10 and up who weigh 90 to 250 lbs. Zippers ascend a 50-foot suspension bridge to a 30-foot high tower in the Christmas tree field, and then sail over a field and a pond. The ride provides a spectacular view of the farmanimals and hayride wagons heading out to the field.
Other attractions include a 60 ft. slide that takes riders through a cave entrance until they emerge at the woods’ edge. The entertainment area for “kids” ages 8-80 features peddle car races and the enormous “Giant Jumping Pillow.” Fall activities include the hayride to the pumpkin patch, a haunted house for youngsters, a gourd sling shot, corn cob cannon, Kiddiepillar (inflatable), candle making, farm animals, and more. Pony rides are available on the weekends. Most activities have a nominal fee. Be sure to visit the Gift Shop for local handmade products as well as unique fall items and Christmas gifts. The Country Market offers food and beverages and is open daily. Kettle Corn is sold on the weekends.
