2019 Guide to Outdoor Movies in Indianapolis

Newfields Summer Film Series

This year, the series runs Friday and most Saturday evenings from June 7 through August 31, with a special Feature Film Series that will run for eight consecutive nights from July 13 through July 20. The line-up features more showings than ever before. Moviegoers are welcome to pack a picnic (without alcoholic beverages) of their own, but there will also be crowd-favorite snacks available for purchase. Oca by Smoking Goose is new to Summer Nights this year and will be serving hot dogs, gourmet sausages, chips, and popcorn. Beverage options include selections from Sun King Brewing Co. and seasonal wine offerings available for purchase. Doors open at 7 p.m., when guests can enjoy a picnic dinner, music, and preshow activities, followed by that night’s movie, which will begin when twilight turns to night (usually 9:30pm).
