Out and About: Carmel, IN

After an evening spent digging through old treasures and cleaning out the basement with her 93-year-old grandfather, Amy Royse was inspired to dive into the world of vintage. What started out as a hobby soon grew into a business as the Vintage Shoppes of Carmel was born.

Nestled in the heart of Carmel’s Arts and Design District, the Vintage Shoppes of Carmel at 301 S. Rangeline is home to 30 local vendors. An eclectic boutique-like atmosphere, the shop features everything from homemade candles, refinished furniture pieces, to new, vintage inspired clothing and decor. Amy takes pride in being able to offer her customers a variety of products as the shop is truly one of a kind.

With the holidays right around the corner, many of us try to think outside the box when it comes to gift buying for those creative friends and family who are difficult to buy for. Keep your money close to home this season and consider buying local! Your gift is sure to be unique and the money goes straight back into the community you call home.

Stop in to the Vintage Shoppes of Carmel on Saturday, November 23 from 11-5pm for their Holiday Open House. Sip on hot cocoa and enjoy festive treats as you shop through a variety of holiday sales.
