What is Museum Day Live? On Saturday, September 26, participating museums across the United States will channel the spirit of the Smithsonian Institution’s Washington DC-based facilities (which offer free admission every day) and open their doors for FREE to those who download a Museum Day Live! ticket.
How do I get tickets? Tickets are free and are available here. Keep in mind that one ticket is good for one person + one guest and restrictions note one ticket is permitted per household. Additional guests are required to pay full admission (prices dependent on museum). Tickets can be printed or shown on a smartphone.
Which Museums are participating? There are over 1,300 museums participating nationwide, including two right here in Hamilton County: Conner Prairie in Fishers and the Museum of Miniature Houses in Carmel. This is also a great chance to take a road trip and check out some of Indiana’s other wonderful museums – there are 32 total participating museums throughout our great state.
