Roots Burger Bar opened a location recently in Indianapolis, and it’s a restaurant that goes out of its way to be super family-friendly. With a location in Muncie and now a new location on 71st Street and Binford Blvd., this is definitely an eatery that both adults and kids can enjoy.
Family-friendly Burger Restaurant
Roots Burger Bar is a great place for adults with young children to visit because there are lots of things to hold a kid’s attention. In the restaurant, you’ll find games like a foosball table, a video game console, and shuffleboard. Kids can adults can play games while they wait for their food, which makes the time pass by until you get your food go just that much faster!
They also feature fun, family-friendly events every so often, like musical bingo or trivia, which you can play at your table while you enjoy your dinner (and possibly win prizes!). Check the Roots Burger Bar Facebook page to keep up with their events.
Kids Menu at Roots Burger Bar
There’s a great kids menu with kid-friendly food items on it, like chicken tenders, grilled cheese, a hot diggity dog (hot dog), chicken wings, cheeseburgers, buttered noodles and even a small steak. All kids entree items come with a beverage and, most excitingly for kids: a small cup or cone of ice cream for dessert.
While you’re waiting for your food, you can visit the popcorn stand, located at the front of the restaurant, for a bag of freshly popped popcorn. The popcorn is complimentary!
And good news: On Tuesdays and Sundays, kids eat free with every regularly priced adult entree!
Adults Menu at Roots Burger Bar
Grown-ups will find lots of burger options here, as well as salads, wings, nachos, and more. Specials change each day, and you’ll find things like BOGO wings on Monday and Taco Tuesday.
Roots also has a large adult beverage selection, including cocktails, bourbon and many draft beers.
