Little Foodies: Brozinni Pizzeria + Speedway Indoor Karting

You can get pizza in many places around Indianapolis. But Brozinni Pizzeria in Speedway might be the only pizza place where you can get a slice and hear the sound of go-karts whizzing by. And during the month of May, you might even hear Indy cars whizzing by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, too!

Brozinni Pizzeria

Brozinni Pizzeria in Speedway

Housed inside Speedway Indoor Karting and located about one mile away from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway where the Indianapolis 500 takes place each year, Brozinni is where you will find great New York-style pizza. You can get it either by the pie or by the slice. Either way, when you visit, be sure to come hungry. The pizzas are huge, and so are the individual slices. The small pizzas are 16 inches, and the sizes go up from there. These huge pizzas will definitely take up a lot of room on your table! Slices are equally massive and are available for lunchtime daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Along with pizza, you’ll also find calzones, wings, pasta, salads and the restaurant’s popular garlic knuckles: their house-made dough tied in a knot and doused with butter and garlic.

Family-friendly Fun and Entertainment

But the building that houses Brozinni isn’t just a restaurant. If you look toward the back of the restaurant, you’ll see a window looking out onto an indoor race track. You might even hear the zoom of go karts race by. This is because Brozinni is located inside a go-kart warehouse!

Speedway Indoor Karting

Families with a need for speed will find it when they walk next door to Speedway Indoor Karting, an indoor race track with two-level road course and a mini superspeedway. Kids ages 8 and older can drive junior karts with other drivers in their age range, while adults can have fun with other adults zipping along the race track.

Mini Bowling and Arcade

Upstairs above the go-kart track, you’ll find an entertainment center with a four-lane mini bowling alley and an arcade. This duckpin-style bowling alley is $5 a game, and there’s no need to change shoes or rent equipment — just stop by the Speedway Indoor Karting front desk to choose your bowling balls and choose your game.

Families will also find an arcade, with games like pinball, virtual car racing and shuffleboard. And for adults, there’s a multi-sport and golf simulator located on the same floor, where you can practice your golf swing.
