Holiday Happenings around Indy

‘Tis the season for holiday fun in Indy! From tree lighting ceremonies and performances to train rides and parades, there is so much to see and do this time of year. With so much to see and do, we asked our advertisers to share some of the fun activities they have in store this season.
Indiana Ballet Conservatory

The Indiana Ballet Conservatory is thrilled to continue the magnificent holiday tradition with its 8th annual production of The Nutcracker featuring Lasha Khozashvili, acclaimed principal dancer with Boston Ballet. Lasha will return to Indianapolis for his 6th appearance in Indiana’s premier Nutcracker tradition. IBC’s Nutcracker sets itself apart by offering unique experiences for Hoosier audiences. For example, this particular staging is closest to that of the original version of The Nutcracker that premiered in Russia in 1892. Children and adults of all ages will be transformed by this heartwarming tale of a young girl and her beloved Nutcracker toy as she battles off evil and learns the value and resiliency of the human spirit. The imaginative storyline and magnificent dancing takes you through a snowy land and we have beautiful butterflies then we see the cutest little angels. We then have Sugar Plum Fairies and the enjoyment of seeing dances of all the sweets like Spanish Chocolate, Arabian Coffee, Chinese Tea, French Marzipan and more! Performance Dates: Dec. 14-17
