Free Admission to Indiana State Parks

In celebration of “Visit Indiana Week,” the Indiana Department of Natural Resources has teamed up with Visit Indiana to offer FREE admission at all Indiana State Parks Sunday, May 6th.

“Indiana State Parks is offering free state parks admission for everyone on Sunday, May 6, 2018, in honor of Visit Indiana Week, sponsored by the Indiana Office of Tourism Development. State Parks Sunday kicks off a week of discounts around the Hoosier State for Visit Indiana Week on May 6 with free admission to 51 Indiana DNR properties”

The properties closest to the greater Indianapolis region are:

 

* Fort Harrison State Park, Indianapolis, IN

* Mounds State Park, Anderson, IN

* Turkey Run State Park, Marshall, IN

* Shades State Park, Waveland, IN

* Brown County State Park, Nashville, IN

MORE INFORMATION: The Indiana Department of Natural Resources State Parks are open year-round and each property boasts its own amenities from hiking trails to fishing to camping and more. Park admission is $7/in-state vehicles and $9/out-of-state vehicles, but will be free of charge on Sunday, May 6, 2018. Visit in.gov/dnr/ for details.
