Touch-A-Truck at Johnson County Fairgrounds

At this event, visitors can explore a wide variety of trucks, vehicles, and equipment up close. The first hour will be sensory-friendly, with no lights or sirens, making it a good time for those who prefer a quieter experience. The event is free and open to all ages.

Families can enjoy a children’s zone with inflatable bounce houses, music from DJ Medic, and a selection of food truck and promotional vendors.

Guests can also take a 25-minute ride on the Indiana Live Steamers train, which travels through open plains and wooded areas. Rides cost $4 per person and accept both cash and credit/debit cards. Boarding begins at 12 p.m. at McClain Station, located at the corner of Cabin Street and Schoolhouse Road. Train rides run until 4 p.m.
