Set on a 73-acre working Christmas tree farm in Hancock County, this experience is designed for parents and kids to slow down together. The Piney Acres Express, a festive trackless train, is the centerpiece of the night, giving riders a calm, 20-minute ride “to the North Pole” while they sip Piney Acres signature hot cocoa and enjoy a fresh holiday cookie. Lights and displays are spread throughout the property, so families are surrounded by glowing scenes without needing to walk long distances in the cold. Glimmer Lights is best for families who enjoy a quieter, sit-and-look-out-the-window style holiday outing. Both kids and adults can ride the train together, and infants who are not yet walking can usually sit on a parent’s lap. On select evenings, Santa visits his Piney Acres Cabin, where children can say hello, share wish lists and take photos before or after their train ride.
