Skateland on Indianapolis’ west side holds a Home School Skate on the last Friday of each month, a neon glow skate session for homeschool families. Admission is $5, skate rental is $6 and non-skating spectators pay $3.
In November, the rink also hosts a Homeschool Lunch & STEM session for co-ops and homeschool groups. The ticket covers admission, skate rental, a slice of pizza and a soft drink, an hour of hands-on STEM lessons and two hours of skating. The STEM lesson starts at 12:15 p.m., so early arrival is suggested.
