Greenwood’s Halloween Fest begins with a parade of trick-or-treating through downtown Greenwood at noon. Families in costume can line the route to collect candy, and all ages are welcome. The parade stages on Washington Street, heads north to Main Street and west on Main, where spectators stand on the north side only, then turns south on Madison Avenue and east on Surina Way to finish near the Craig Park ball fields. Groups can enter the parade for $50 through Greenwood Parks.
After the parade, the festival continues at the Greenwood Amphitheater with live music, including a concert by Toy Factory at 1 p.m., a kid zone, food trucks, beer and wine, a stein-holding competition and a costume contest with categories for pets, ages 5 and under, 6 to 10, 11 to 17 and adults.
