Phantoms of the Canal Road is a 20-minute, open-air motorcar ride through the haunted village of Metamora, with gentle spooks and fun surprises but no blood or gore. Rides run every 30 minutes from 6 to 9 p.m., rain or shine, so dress the kids for the weather.
Tickets are $10 for ages 2 and up. Seating is limited and the railroad expects rides to sell out, so buy online early or call 765-825-2054. Online orders add a 6% service fee (minimum $1). Rides operate from Metamora, not Connersville, and the ticket office is at 19056 Main St.
The Whitewater Valley Railroad’s Ghost Train is not running this year while the railroad repairs flood damage from August.
