Franklin Holiday Lighting

Downtown Franklin hosts the Downtown Holiday Lighting and Winter Market on December 6, 2025. Families can explore activities across downtown all day, including breakfast with Santa, a winter market, live entertainment, crafts, a lighted parade, fireworks, and the courthouse square lighting. Food vendors line Court Street, and several venues offer special programs throughout the day. Most activities are free and open to all ages.

• Frozen Storytime with Elsa & Anna — Noon & 1 p.m., Library Services Center
• Food Vendors — Noon–7 p.m., East & West Court Streets
• Holiday Cookie Contest — 1–4 p.m., Mutual Savings Bank
• Winter Market — 1–8 p.m., North Main St. & Elks Lodge (2nd Floor)
• Visit with Santa — 1:30–4:30 p.m., Johnson County Museum of History
• “A Christmas Story” Film — 2 p.m. & 7:30 p.m., Historic Artcraft Theatre
• Craft Holiday Ornaments — 3–4 p.m., Library Services Center
• Organ & Community Band Concert — 3:30 p.m., First Presbyterian Church
• Penny Lane Photo Bus — 4–8 p.m., East Court Street
• Lighted Parade — 5:30 p.m., Jackson → Jefferson → South Home
• Live Entertainment — 6–7:30 p.m., Stage on West Court Street
