Each year, the AMP hosts a variety of events including concerts, cultural events, festivals, farmers markets, and much more. The outdoor venue is open year-round and is capable of holding a variety of performances, from a simple acoustic set, to an orchestral ensemble, to a 6,000-person concert.

Staff utilize the space’s 3D printing lab to offer three different class types: 3D Printing, Intro to 3D Modeling, and Intro to Solidworks. Current opportunities below: 3D Printing 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 19 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 7 Learn the basics of 3D printing and how to slice and print pre-made models. This course covers a little history with general 3D printing info, materials, machine safety and operation, and what it takes to produce a successful print with our machines. Intro to 3D Modeling 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 15 This beginner-friendly class introduces two popular 3D modeling tools used at Maker Playground: Tinkercad and SketchUp Free. Participants will learn when and why to use each platform, with hands-on time for projects. Intro to Solidworks 5 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 28 A follow-up to "Intro to 3D Modeling," this course covers the basic functions required to begin using Solidworks as a tool to bring more technical design concepts to life.
