I recently explored a fun and unique activity that’s great for getting creative with my 5-year-old niece. We headed to HopeAnchor & Crew, a jewelry studio in Noblesville’s Hamilton Town Center Mall. This place isn’t just about making jewelry but also about giving back, so our creative adventure felt even more rewarding.
Getting Started
When we arrived, the place immediately caught our attention with its large selection of beads at the bead bar. With a small bowl in hand, we dove into picking out beads for our bracelets. The variety was impressive, offering different colors, shapes, and some special charms too.

Creating Our Bracelets
After selecting our beads, we moved to the workspace where the owner, Lindsay, showed us how to start making our bracelets. She suggested working from the middle out for a balanced design. This part required careful attention, especially with the small beads. I was a bit worried if my niece could handle it, but she managed just fine. Children younger than 5 might find it a bit tricky if they don’t have a steady hand just yet.
The quality of the beads was noticeably high, setting them apart from the ones you’d find in standard jewelry kits.
The Final Touch
It took us about 45 minutes to finish our bracelets. The price was $25 per bracelet, covering basic beads, a selection of special beads, and charms. After paying, we were happy to choose a charity from a list to which HopeAnchor & Crew would donate 15% of our purchase. It felt good to know our fun activity was also helping others.
No Reservations Needed
One of the highlights of our visit was the hassle-free experience—no need for reservations or appointments here. The studio is open for walk-in jewelry making whenever they’re open, perfect for impromptu visits whenever the creative bug bites.
