That magical moment is quickly approaching where one lucky child will have the opportunity to “flip the switch” for the Downtown Indy, Inc. Circle of Lights® presented by IBEW 481 on Friday, Nov. 26. Children ages 3 – 12 can enter the AES Indiana Coloring Contest, which runs Nov. 1-16, by decorating the official coloring sheet of a large holiday light bulb.

AES Indiana and Downtown Indy, Inc. invite children from all over Indiana to participate. Once again, five $529 CollegeChoice 529 Direct Savings Plans will be awarded to five finalists, based on creativity. The one entry that receives the most votes from our panel will be selected to “flip the switch” for the Circle of Lights. In 2021, the event returns to an in-person event as well as continuing as a special made-for-TV event seen exclusively on WTHR Channel 13 – both on Friday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m.
