Bike Safety at The Children’s Museum This Thursday

The First Thursday Night of each month is a special time for families to enjoy The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis at a greatly reduced price of only $6 per person after hours.

The theme this Thursday is all about cycling and safety. The first 500 visitors will receive a free bike helmet from the Indiana University School of Medicine and families will also have the opportunity to win a bicycle (a mixture of four kid-sized and adult-sized bikes). The helmets will be available in the museum sack lunch area while supplies last along with art supplies to decorate the new helmets. The helmet giveaway is made possible through a grant received from CIBA Foundation that provides resources to partner organizations to support its goal of promoting the benefits of safe cycling to the community.

This is also a great time to see the following temporary exhibits before they leave.

  • SUE Meets Bucky – closes July 25, 2021
  • Dora and Diego—Let’s Explore! – closes July 25, 2021
  • DC SUPER HEROES™: Discover your Superpowers – closes Sept. 26, 2021

Spring and summer months are also a great time to get outside and get your game on in Riley Children’s Health Sports Legend Experience®.

Tickets to the museum can be purchased at https://www.childrensmuseum.org/first-thursday-ad.
