Come out to the Plaza with your family and friends to enjoy a free evening of entertainment on the Great Lawn. Movies will begin around dusk, so start times will vary.

Touch a Truck at Craig Park

Every kids favorite vehicles gather together so your little ones can climb in and bring their toy trucks to life. Local departments and companies will pack the parking lot from 9 to noon.

Airport Day

Indy South Greenwood Airport brings the community together for a fun filled day of activities, exhibits, and food. Free parking and admission. Attendees will see World War II aircraft, vehicles, and live reenactors.

Come celebrate with us at this historic Near Eastside festival! We’ll have fun while we highlight local neighborhoods and community organizations. Part of IU Health Momentum Indy, a family-friendly day of pro and amateur criterium racing surrounded by cycling and fitness activities for all ages. Daytime races take place along with a family-friendly festival with a kids’ race, Riley Children’s Health Kids Zone presented by PNC and Meijer, food trucks, drinks and more. Free.

Indianapolis Bug Fest

Aug 28 | 12-5 pm | Southeastway Park

Earn a “Doctor of Bugology” degree at Bug Fest Indianapolis. The Global Center for Species Survival will be one of many exhibitors on-site to educate and entertain families. Invertebrate Conservation Coordinator Sérgio Henriques will focus on “backyard bugs.” Learn about insects and spiders found in Indiana.
