Nature Preschool Program: Not Spooky Snakes

Learn which snakes are native to Indiana – those that make their home in Cool Creek Park – and why they’re not so spooky after all. You’ll be introduced to our resident snakes at the nature center. We’ll go on a hike, identifying places where the snakes might visit the most.

Nature Preschool Programs:

Bring the little ones to explore nature! We start our program by learning about a specific nature topic and then head outside to explore the woods and prairie at preschooler speed. Parents join in to encourage discovery alongside their child. Dress for the weather – we will try to go out every meeting! Give your children the love of nature.
