Are you ready to Trunk or Treat?!

The weeks leading up to Halloween are filled with great opportunities to let your kids try out their costume and collect candy at local truck-or-treat events. We will continue to update this list as we hear about new events, if you know of one we should add please email [email protected].

 

 

2019 Guide to Trunk-or-Treat around Indianapolis:

Saturday, October 19

ISP Museum’s Trunk or Treat

When: October 19, 3:00 – 5:00pm
Where: 8660 E 21st St, Indianapolis

Join the Indiana State Police and local law enforcement for a safe and fun trick or treating event! There will be candy, carnival games, crafts, and music!

Friday, October 25

Cornerstone Lutheran Church Carmel
When: October 25, 5:30 – 7:30pm
Where: 4850 E Main St., Carmel

Head to Carmel for a fun evening of costumes, fellowship, and of course, candy! The event is recommended for ages 0 through 4th grade, but older siblings are welcome. Please no scary costumes!

Ivy Tech

When: October 25, 5:00 – 9:00pm
Where: 50 W Fall Creek Parkway North Drive, Indianapolis

Looking for a safe, fun event to participate in either by hosting a trunk or attending to get treats? Look no further! In its 6th year, the ITSEA Trunk or Treat is a Halloween fun fest you won’t want to miss. Bring your kids and family out to delight in the trunks, the treats and all the other spooky fun we have to offer (games, face-painters, balloon artists, bounce house, a DJ, and so much more).

Saturday, October 26

Creepy Club
When: October 26, 5:30 – 7:00pm Trunk or Treat; 5:30 – 6:30pm non-scary; 6:30 – 9:00pm scary
Where: 5640 N Illinois St, Indianapolis

It’s the SPOOKIEST night of the year at Rivi! Here’s what else you can enjoy: pumpkin bowling, bounce houses, music, snacks, and more.

Town of McCordsville
When: October 26, 12:00 – 2:00pm
Where: 6280 W 800 N, McCordsville

Join the Town of McCordsville for their annual Trunk-or-Treat event at the McCordsville Town Hall Park. There will be costumes, prizes, treats (and hopefully no tricks). Fun for the whole family!

East 91st Street Christian Church
When: October 26, 3:00 – 6:00 pm
Where: 6049 E 91st St, Indianapolis

This annual event, located in the E91 parking lot, will feature fun, free activities for the whole family! Kids, dress in your favorite costume as you wind through the maze of trunks filled with candy and prizes. Parents, let the kids work off their energy on the inflatable bounce houses while you snack on the delicious offerings from one of the food trucks.

Kingsway Christian Church
When: October 26, 4:00 – 7:00pm

Where: 7981 E County Road 100 N, Avon

Head to Kingsway Christian Church for this fun, kid-friendly event! It’s a great way to meet others in our community and to have a safe, enjoyable night with your family. There will be indoor and outdoor activities for you and your family to enjoy. Additionally, Gary’s Popcorn Truck will be there along with some fun games and lots of TREATS!

Pleasant View Lutheran Church
When: October 26, 4:00 – 6:00pm

Where: 801 W. 73rd Street, Indianapolis

All are welcome to stop by Pleasant View to check out the spectacular trunks of members of our PVLC Community, get some candy and other treats, enjoy the campfire, make a craft, and have a snack. All are encouraged to wear their Halloween best!

Sunday, October 27

Union Chapel United Methodist Church
When: October 27, 5:00 – 7:00pm
Where: 2720 E 86th St, Indianapolis

Pop on your costume and join us to celebrate the season, rain or shine! There will be games, prizes, candy (of course), crafts, snacks, and activities.

First Baptist Church

When: October 27, 5:00 – 6:30pm
Where: 8600 N College Ave, Indianapolis

Trunk or treat will take place in the First Baptist Church parking lot.

Downtown Halloween – Trunk or Treat For Kids!
When: October 27, 4:00 – 6:00pm
Where: 401 N Delaware St, Indianapolis

Parishioners of Roberts Park United Methodist Church will be decorating their cars’ trunks with Halloween flavors of all kinds to treat area neighborhood kids to a fun and tasty pre-Halloween celebration. All are welcome to enjoy the treats!

Diversity Church Indy

When: October 27, 4:00 – 7:00pm
Where: 101 East Raymond Street, Indianapolis

Candy, candy, and more candy! Plus free popcorn & nachos will be sold for $2.00.

North Church Indy

When: October 27, 4:00 – 6:00pm
Where: 3808 N Meridian Street, Indianapolis

Join us for a safe alternative to going door-to-door and a fun alternative for those who don’t get any trick-or-treaters. Bring your car full of decorations, wear a costume, and bring lots of candy!

Tuesday, October 29

Trunk or Treat with LINC by United Way of Central Indiana

When: October 29, 6:00 – 7:30pm
Where: Fathers & Families Center, 2835 North Illinois Street, Indianapolis

No tricks, just treats and books! Bring a new or gently used children’s or young adult book for the LINC book donation drive. Celebrate this “spooktacular” night with halloween-themed games, prizes, and more. Costumes are strongly encouraged!

Wednesday, October 30

Colonial Hills Baptist Church

When: October 30, 6:45 – 8:15pm
Where: 8140 Union Chapel Road, Indianapolis

Come for the candy; stay for the carnival games, costumes, decorated trucks, prizes, and much more!

Thursday, October 31

German Park

When: October 31, 6:00 – 8:00pm
Where: 8600 S Meridian Street, Indianapolis

Enjoy safe trick or treating on Halloween!
